Job Summary
The Junior Accountant supports the finance team by performing daily accounting tasks, with a primary focus on processing bank transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to grow within the accounting function.
Key Responsibilities Bank & Cash Management- Record daily bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and electronic payments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor cash balances and flag unusual or unexpected activity.
- Maintain organized documentation for all banking activity.
- Prepare and post journal entries for recurring and ad-hoc transactions.
