Junior Accounting Technician

Team Cadex Inc. is looking for a junior accounting technician to join our current team.

The main responsibilities of the Accounting technician are constantly evolving and include, but are not limited to, payables, receivables and payroll.

Accounts Payable

• Reconcile credit card statements, including matching purchase orders, delivery slips, and invoices.
• Verify and validate the required approvals and enter the information into Prextra.
• File paper and PDF invoices.
• Validate and follow up on supplier statements.

Accounts Receivable

• Validate and enter received payments into Prextra.
• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and multiple currencies.
• Prepare certain monthly and annual general ledger entries.
• Make bank deposits through FlexiDeposits.
• Prepare tax reports, including GST and QST.
