A.S.P. is seeking a dedicated K9 Training Assistant to support our leading K9 Unit in Canada. This position focuses on enhancing training programs for optimal detection outcomes.
As part of A.S.P. Incorporated, you will work under the Master Trainer to develop and deliver training for K9 handlers, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and effective operational procedures. This role includes monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing training and administrative processes across the K9 Unit, crucial for maintaining our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing comprehensive K9 training programs
• Ensure adherence to Transport Canada certification standards
• Host team briefings to address critical site information
• Participate in on-site evaluations across the country
• Monitor and maintain operational dog care procedures
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three years of K9 handling experience
• One year in K9 training...
