Shape the future of electrical education at KO Communities as an Electrical Instructor & Community Lead. Deliver hands-on training, mentor youth and adults, and support renewable energy initiatives.
This one-year term position focuses on essential electrical and renewable energy systems training. You will deliver foundational courses, create engaging workshop materials, and assist with future smart grid goals. Collaborating with community members and KO schools is key to this role, as is ensuring a safe learning environment in compliance with electrical regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver foundational electrical training to learners
• Mentor youth and adults in hands-on settings
• Create workshop materials and training plans
• Support minor electrical maintenance in communities
• Provide technical advice for future educational initiatives
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certified electrician with teaching experience
• Valid Ontario driver’s license
