Legal Administrative Assistant – North Vancouver – Temp to possible permanent – #5140

Our client, a highly respected North Vancouver law firm, is looking for a driven LAA to join there team on an initial immediate temporary basis with a possibility of going permanent.

This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:

  • Performing conflict searches, opening files, completing client identification/verification and preparing retainer letters.
  • Maintaining and organizing files and documents.
  • Formatting documents.
  • Time entry and billing.
  • Generating monthly WIP and AR Reports.
  • Sending and receiving letters with or without enclosures, as well as with or without courier.
  • Bank runs, as needed.
