Our client, a national law firm, has an immediate need for a corporate lawyer with experience in the areas of banking, finance and secured lending.

Duties

• Providing legal advice on banking, finance and corporate matters
• Advising clients on matters such as project and acquisition finance, secured lending and debt and equity capital markets
• Handling mergers and acquisitions
• Managing venture capital transactions
• Addressing general corporate matters

About You

• 3 or more years post-call experience in corporate law in private practice or in-house
• Experience in banking, finance and secured lending
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent drafting skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Permitted to work in Canada
