HSP Law is a Toronto-based personal injury law firm with a practice spanning multiple provinces. We are seeking to add an Associate Lawyer to our team. We represent plaintiffs in motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, accident benefits, and long-term disability matters.
Responsibilities
- Handling all aspects of personal injury files from intake to resolution
- Drafting pleadings, motions, settlement memoranda, and mediation briefs
- Conducting examinations for discovery, attending mediations, pre-trials, and LAT hearings
- Reviewing medical documentation and productions
- Regular communication with clients throughout the life of the file
- Conducting legal research as required
Requirements
- Called to the Ontario Bar with at least 2 years of post-call experience
- Experience in plaintiff personal injury law, including Accident Benefits and Tort
