Summary About the Position: This position is located at the Lakenheath Commissary in the Unite Kingdom within the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) system. The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more employees in carrying out the main work assignments needed to successfully operate a commissary store. Responsibilities Distribute and balance workload among employees, monitor status and progress of work, and make day-to-day adjustments. Instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques and assists with problems. Answer questions on procedures, policies, directives. Check work in progress or upon completion to ensure procedures are followed. Conduct on-the-job training covering all aspects of the work performed in the various functional retail areas of the store. Maintain records of work accomplishments and time expended and prepare production reports as required.
