A boutique law firm in downtown Toronto is seeking a Legal Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office and two days working from home.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Legal Accountant is responsible for full-cycle accounting, including maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and performing reconciliations. The role also involves preparing financial statements and reports, supporting month‑end and year‑end closings, assisting with audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
The Offer
