Description

Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the Library Automation System (circulation, enquiries, database updates).
Organise and classify library collections using the Dewey Decimal System/genres.
Maintain supplementary resources (articles, magazines, databases) to support teaching and learning.
Ensure an inviting library environment with clear signages, guides, and collection displays.
Safeguard the integrity of library data (bibliographic records, patron information, collection status).
Manage circulation, inventory checks, collection development, and liaise with suppliers for acquisitions.
Prepare reports on library usage, loans, enquiries, and activities.
Support and promote engaging library programmes (orientations, user education, book reviews, Library Week, quizzes).
Provide loan, reference, and enquiry services to students and staff.
