Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assigned to Adolescent Intensive Services 24/7 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Hours of Work

7.5 and/or 11.25 hour shifts; Monday‑Friday, and weekends; days, evenings and nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to children and youth with chronic and persistent mental health disorders.
• Administer medication, facilitate admission nursing assessment, and perform other assigned duties in collaboration with RN and physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Assume practical nursing theory in patient assessment and participate in development of evidence‑based care plans.
