Positions Available With Various Employers Across Long-Term Care and Home Care in Nova Scotia
The continuing care sector is partnering together to hire and provide an Enhanced LPN Orientation for internationally educated nurses (IENs). This is an innovative and supportive initiative aimed at helping IENs transition seamlessly into LPN roles within the sector.
A LPN is one of the three designations of professional nurses in Nova Scotia, with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) making-up the other two. There are many opportunities for LPNs in the continuing care sector in Nova Scotia.
Successful applicants will attend an in-person, comprehensive refresher program, focusing on the essential knowledge and clinical skills needed to provide safe, competent care for those in continuing care settings.
