• Previous experience leading teams (preferred)
• ERP systems
• Fully bilingual (able to communicate fluently in English)

Bachelor's Degree Public Accountant required. 5 years Maquiladora.

This position will lead part of the Mexicali accounting team that may include any of the following groups: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax and/or Treasury functions. The accounting lead will report directly to the accounting manager.

• Assign daily, weekly, monthly tasks to the team, establishing priorities by position.
• Review prepayroll, payroll and employee payments every week.
• Review weekly accounts payable, confirming the accuracy of internal controls.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review tax payments.
