Position Purpose
This position will lead part of the Mexicali accounting team that may include any of the following groups: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax and/or Treasury functions.
The accounting lead will report directly to the accounting manager.
Responsibilities
Assign daily, weekly, monthly tasks to the team, establishing priorities by position.
Review prepayroll, payroll and employee payments every week.
Review weekly accounts payable, confirming the accuracy of internal controls.
Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
Review tax payments.
Correct issues identified in various account reconciliations.
