Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Public Accountant required. 5 years Maquiladora.

Position Purpose : This position will lead part of the Mexicali accounting team that may include any of the following groups: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax and/or Treasury functions. The accounting lead will report directly to the accounting manager.

Previous experience leading teams (preferred).

ERP systems.

Fully bilingual (able to communicate fluently in English).

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• ASSIGN DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY TASKS TO THE TEAM, ESTABLISHING PRIORITIES BY POSITION.
• REVIEW PREPAYROLL, PAYROLL AND EMPLOYEE PAYMENTS EVERY WEEK.
• REVIEW WEEKLY ACCOUNTS PAYABLES, CONFIRMING THE ACCURACY INTERNAL CONTROLS.
• REVIEW AND APPROVE JOURNAL ENTRIES AND RECONCILIATIONS.
• REVIEW THE TAXES PAYMENTS.
