Job Description: One on one training with a skilled driver coach Two-weeks of paid, industry specific training in Ayr, ON
Key Responsibilities: Daily runs to Michigan Transport solid waste from the transfer stations to various Landfills Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable Document and log driving/break periods in Kilometers on Daily Trip Report and E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, Hours of Service, occupational health and safety, custo...
