Litho Press Feeder (Toronto)

Under the direction of the Litho Operations Manager, the experienced Press Feeder performs all relevant duties related to feeding a press, including assisting the pressman in the general operation and maintenance of the press adhering to TI Group’s standards for quality and performance. Experience is preferred but willing to train!

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of a variety of substrate materials – opening boxes, cartons, packages, skids, and properly placing materials into press feeder
• Set up and operate feeder as required
• Mount and register plates
• Fill ink fountains and maintain sufficient ink volumes throughout day
• Fill water tanks and maintain sufficient supply – including regular checking of pH & conductivity
• Liaise with pressman and co-workers to ensure supply of required materials
• Assist Press Operator with routine maintenance
