General Job Description
Under limited guidance performs the following activities:
- Composes and types letters, reports, emails and documents in final form using word processor and company system.
- In some instances, may be required to compose letters/memos/reports for managers.
- Answers phone and takes accurate messages for managers, receives date stamps and distributes department mail.
- Schedules appointments and maintains calendar for managers.
- Coordinates staff meetings, business travel, seminars, etc. for all employees.
- Maintains personnel data on unit employees well organized and updated (vacation calendar, personnel files, expense reports, etc.).
- Responsible to order and maintain adequate level of office supplies.
- Performs additional related administrative and clerical duties such as gathering and researching data for management reports, etc.
