Mackenzie Health Division of General Surgery is on the lookout for a skilled colorectal surgeon ready to contribute to their outstanding team. This role entails elective OR practice and possible endoscopic procedures, while eventually supporting teaching efforts as the institution prepares for its new medical residency program. Candidates will also participate in dedicated ACS weeks at both the Mackenzie Richmond Hill and Cortellucci Vaughan hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform benign colorectal surgeries and advanced robotic techniques
• Manage endoscopy procedures within elective practice
• Participate in educational efforts at York University
• Engage with ACS services co-managed by Nurse Practitioners
• Collaborate with a team of experienced general surgeons
