Maintenance Manager (Aerospace)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and develop comprehensive cost estimates for various plant applications.
• Evaluate and analyze the design of each application to determine the most economical and functional systems, methods and procedures for manufacturing equipment.
• Provides assistance on major deliverables such as facility expansion, capital equipment acquisition and installation, major repairs and overhauls, plant design changes, and other issues related to best economic advantage and schedule.
• Coordinates activities with Product Development in the transition of new or rebuilt equipment and processes to the production floor.
• Procures all parts, contracts and equipment used to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Obtains quotes and coordinates with outside vendors and contractors on equipment installation and/or repair projects.
• Formulate and implement an effective preventive maintenance program.
