Description
The **Technologist Trainee** learns the safety, customer service skills, documentation and operation of Radiology through on-the job training under the direction of a registered technologist.
**Specific duties include, but are not limited to:**
+ Conducts pre-screening of all personnel before entering the magnet room to ensure their safety.
+ Scans and documents patients under the direction of a registered technologist to meet all customer (if applicable) and Akumin requirements.
+ Completes necessary documentation for patient files to ensure all customer, Akumin policy and Joint Commission requirements are met.
+ Other job duties as needed.
**Position Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
+ Successful completion of a Radiology School.
+ Certificate from College or Technical School.
+ Certified by ARRT, ARMRIT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
+ Continuing education of the structure component to the Radiology exam.
