Manager - AC Electrical Design

Key Responsibilities: Prepare in-house engineering drawings such as SLDs, AC layouts, GA drawings, cable routing, and detailed electrical drawings for solar PV projects. Design and size AC-side equipment including inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, and evacuation systems. Perform electrical studies such as load flow analysis, relay settings, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and protection coordination. Develop technical specifications and datasheets for major plant equipment and systems. Ensure all designs comply with IS / IEC / CEA / DISCOM / SECI / NTPC standards and grid codes. Coordinate with utilities/DISCOMs for grid connectivity approvals and technical compliance. Support testing, commissioning, and grid synchronisation activities at site. Prepare and float RFQs, evaluate technical offers, and support techno-commercial finalisation of vendors.
