Manager Accounting Services

Summary

The Manager-Accounting will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the Distribution business and its branches, including financial accounting, budgeting & forecasting, risk management and managing the day‑to‑day operations and activities of the finance department. Acting as the Finance Leader, this role has a strong dotted line reporting relationship to the General Manager, Distribution and in this capacity acts as a business partner to the General Manager. The Finance Leader will ensure the development of relevant business metrics, maintenance of accurate accounting systems, maintenance of an effective internal control environment, and timely and relevant financial planning and reporting. Other major responsibilities include management of accounting staff, and support process improvement or new business initiatives. This position must ensure that Westlake Accounting Policies and the Delegation of Authority are complied with.
