Manager, Business Development - Resources Industry (Calgary)

As a Manager, Business Development, you will help drive Avanade’s growth across Western Canada by supporting and leading sales pursuits with enterprise clients. This role is ideal for a Business Development professional who has experience—or strong interest—in selling to Resource‑based organizations, such as energy, oil & gas, mining, utilities, or broader industrial sectors, and who thrives in a collaborative, ecosystem‑driven environment.

What you’ll do

Business Development & Pipeline Growth

• Support and lead sales pursuits across priority accounts, contributing to pipeline development and deal execution
• Identify and qualify opportunities by understanding client challenges, market dynamics, and industry trends
• Support revenue growth through both new opportunities and expansion of existing client relationships
• Maintain robust opportunity management, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting discipline
