The opportunity
Within EY’s Assurance practice, we have a Centre of Excellence (COE) located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking an experienced manager to join our growing team to lead our Independence team. As leader of the Independence team, this individual will liaise directly with client-serving teams, ensure high quality deliverables and coordinate timing and execution of the deliverables, in addition to becoming proficient in technical subject matter.
Your key responsibilities
demonstrate technical knowledge in Canadian, SEC, PCAOB and IESBA auditor independence rules and EY Global and country independence policies to support client-serving teams,

assess, analyze and evaluate whether, based on the applicable policies, EY is independent of the entity under audit,
