Manager, Environment

The Manager, Environment will work closely with the project management team and NexGold’s environment team (VP Sustainability and Director of Environment) to lead project-based environmental programs and contribute to the management of permitting and environmental approvals for the Goldboro Gold Project. They will develop and implement procedures and programs at the Goldboro Gold Project, ensuring alignment with the NexGold Mining Corporate Vision. Drawing on strong technical expertise, the Manager will be accountable for environmental compliance, performance, risk management, and making recommendations for improvement. The Manager must consider environmental and other commitments made in the Community Benefits Agreement and Mutual Benefits Agreement, and their job performance must be reflective of NexGold’s established reputation with regulators and communities.
