Manager Position

We are looking to fill a management position as our current manager is continuing his career in trades. We wish him well.

OVERVIEW

Island Return It operates bright, clean, and well‑organized recycling centres across Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island. Our goal is simple: make recycling a genuinely positive experience so more people choose to do it. As Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and be the driving force behind a team of 2–5 staff members.

What you’ll do

• Plan, organize, and oversee all daily operations including opening and closing procedures
• Manage and motivate a small team—recruiting, training, and creating a positive work environment
• Handle cash and bank orders accurately; complete daily reports and administrative paperwork
• Implement company policies and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and issues
