Manufacturing Engineer I

To support, improve and implement manufacturing processes considering tools, equipment, layout, facilities and systems to create safe and quality product with a competitive cost and optimum performance. To document process standards and work instructions, focused mainly on production support. Collects data from manufacturing processes related to time studies, layouts, etc. and continuously improves process performance in safety, quality, cost, etc. Maintain production processes safe, with the best product quality and delivery working at the optimum operational cost.

• Participates in PFMEA analysis. Gathers information needed for MWIs. Creates procedures and controls for error proofing devices. Follows up on activities driven by SPC. Provides maintenance and keeps gage calibrated. Supports root cause investigation. Support APQP activities, documentation. Supports PPAP documentation to be completed. Has some knowledge of requirements for ISO. Creates documentation for ISO. ...
