Manufacturing Engineer (Soldering)

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (SOLDERING)
:
A Manufacturing Engineer specialized in Soldering develops, implements and maintains methods, tools, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub assemblies and final assemblies used in the soldering process.
They interface with Design, Test, and Reliability Engineering to create successful product launches and to solve problems.
They sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvements in machines used for soldering procedures, wave solder or selective solder.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support to and implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools (SMED, one piece flow, manufacturing cells,
Self-directed teams, kan-ban, 5's, etc.
)
Continues quality improvements and elimination of non-value added activities.
Active participation in improvements of manufacturing metrics.
Manufacturing line and/or cells balancing according to TAKT time.
