Mechanical design engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong New Product Development (NPD) experience to support the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in sheet metal, casting, and rotomolded component design using Solid Works, along with strong engineering analysis capabilities.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new product development projects.
- Create detailed 3 D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using Solid Works.
- Design components involving:
- Sheet metal
- Castings
- Rotomolded parts
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure manufacturability and assembly fit.
- Conduct engineering calculations including:
- Free Body Diagram (FBD) analysis
- Machine design calculations
- Structural and mechanical evaluations
