Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a mechanical designer of mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) to join a major Canadian space company. As a Mechanical Designer of MGSE, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to develop subsystem components, products or structures used to manufacture, assemble or test state-of-the-art satellite products or subsystems. As part of one or more project teams, under the supervision of experienced engineers, you will be responsible for establishing the mechanical concepts and associated documentation for ground support equipment such as tooling, fixtures, jigs and mechanisms to assemble, test or deliver customized space products for our international customers. From the brainstorming phase through to detailed definition, you define the mechanical assembly components that ensure the safety of personnel and products.
