Medical Leader - Physician Quality Leader (PQL) - Hospital Acquired Urinary Tract Infection (HAUTI)

Job Summary The Physician Quality Leader (PQL) - Hospital Acquired Urinary Tract Infection (HAUTI) position will offer an opportunity to empower a physician to provide regional leadership and direction to our physicians and clinical staff on this quality and patient safety initiative. This role involves collaboration with the Clinical Quality and Patient Safety (CQPS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), senior leadership, department leaders, regional leaders and support systems to improve the safety of patients accessing care within our program.

Key Areas Of Involvement Include

Engage physicians, Physician Quality Leaders and interdisciplinary teams to advance adoption of recommended HAUTI best practices.

Provide physician education and knowledge translation related to HAUTI best practices.

Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented improvements on medical staff.
