Microfluidics Engineering Co-Op

The Microfluidics Engineering Co‑op for Cytiva is responsible for supporting the development of microfluidic mixers for lipid nanoparticle encapsulation of RNA therapeutics.

This position is part of the Microfluidics Engineering Team located in Vancouver, B.C. and will be on‑site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Implement analytical lab techniques for nanoparticles
• Design, fabrication and characterization of microfluidic devices
• Application development for new microfluidic devices
• Assist in transitioning new formulation techniques into future products

Who you are:

• Studying Nanoscience, Nanotechnology Engineering, Engineering Physics, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering or any other multi‑disciplinary degree.
• Strong biological lab techniques.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics or thermodynamics.
