Mining Operations Manager

We are looking for a permanent Mining Operations Manager to lead and manage operational mining activities at the site areas of Mondo Minerals B.V. Branch Finland (Sotkamo and Vuonos area).

You will be responsible for quantitative, qualitative and HSEQ performance of mining operations and lead a team of Geologists and Engineer. Budget management, cost control and proper resource allocation is part of your role. You will lead and manage mining construction projects and continuous improvement of mining activities. You will also ensure that quality‑, environmental and safety issues are managed according to the existing laws, permits and instructions. You will work in close collaboration with the current mining contractor, Chief Geologist, HSE and site operational managers. You will report to the Director of Operations, Finland and the location is at Sotkamo site.
