Job Title: MPD Supervisor
Location: Shop - Leduc, AB; Field locations throughout AB and SK
Schedule: 21/10 or ad hoc
Contract Length: 3 month renewals with potential for permanent employment
Position Overview
Our client is currently seeking multiple skilled and motivated Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Supervisors and Field Technicians to support our field operations. This role is essential to executing safe, efficient, and high-quality MPD procedures in coordination with rig and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor MPD equipment (choke manifolds, True Flow systems, RCDs)
- Assist with rig-up, rig-down, and pressure testing
- Monitor well parameters and maintain wellbore stability using surface backpressure
- Coordinate with rig crews, drilling engineers, and directional teams
- Maintain detailed operational logs and shift reports
