Municipal Design Engineer
Location: Burnaby, BC or Calgary, AB.
Your role within the team
- Preparing utility pipe network, site grading, access road, and drainage design using Civil 3D;
- Perform hydraulic analysis and modeling of storm and water systems, using stormwater, and water distribution network modeling software
- Formulating preliminary and detailed designs and drawings for various engineering and planning projects (municipal, land developments, and transportation);
- Prepare quantity and cost estimates, technical construction specifications in accordance with MMCD standards;
- Preparation of construction contract documents and special provisions, and tender documents for above works;
- Pump station design;
- Leading, guiding, and mentoring a team of technologist and Junior engineers
