Naval Operations Integration Specialist (Halifax Regional Municipality)

Overview

As a key member of the End User Product Development Team (PDT), the Naval Operations Integration Specialist helps ensure that future Royal Canadian Navy operators receive systems, equipment, and documentation that are safe, effective, and ready for operational use. This role bridges operational experience and technical delivery, bringing a practical, end‑user perspective to how shipboard systems are introduced and used in service. The Specialist leads and supports the development of Operability Statements (OPSTATs), working with subject matter experts to ensure they clearly describe how equipment will be operated, supported, and maintained in real‑world naval environments. The Naval Operations Integration Specialist works closely with Human Systems Integration (HSI), Training, and Crewing teams to ensure operational information is accurately reflected in training, staffing, and skill requirements.
