Night Telescope Operations Specialist

The Association Of Universities For Research In Astronomy is seeking an Observing Specialist to support operations at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in La Serena, Chile. In this role, you will operate and document procedures for both the Simonyi and Auxiliary Telescopes, contributing significantly to nighttime commissioning and operations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in related fields and experience with ground-based telescopes. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required to thrive in a dynamic, multinational team.
