Nurse B - Communicable Disease Control Public Heal
The Communicable Disease Control Public Health Nurse works under the direction of the designated Manager or supervisor and is a delegate of the local Medical Health Officer(s) and is accountable for the coordination of public health activities to control and prevent communicable diseases, including surveillance and reporting responsibilities, as outlined in The Public Health Officers Regulations, in addition to The Public Health Act, 1994 and The Disease Control Regulations and Saskatchewan Health directives and policies and other applicable federal legislation. They will coordinate the prevention, planning, and implementation of Communicable Disease Control (CDC) services within the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
