Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Nursing Director or the Assistant Director, Nursing Education, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Continuing Education Instructor is responsible for acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel; facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcomes; planning, coordinating, and in conjunction with the Nursing Director, evaluating unit‑specific orientation programs; participating in educational activities within the specific Department, the Patient Care Portfolio, and throughout the Hospital; and performing other related duties as required or assigned.

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of recent cardiac experience required.
• Experience in educational program planning is an asset.
• Demonstrated teaching experience preferred.
