Nursing Unit Manager (Healthcare)

Job Summary: Management of the nursing unit in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Position reports to the Director of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for nursing residents. This can include but not limited to: maintaining current health records, following up on incidents/issues with skilled nursing residents and/or meeting families as needed.
- Monitor falls, infection control, skin issues, unusual occurrences, medicine delivery errors and other incidents.
- Maintenance of quality assurance parameters on unit, including chart and log audits.
