Overview

Experienced Oracle DBA to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission‑critical Oracle databases, along with an AWS‑focused DBA to manage and optimize Amazon RDS (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MSSQL) and Amazon Redshift clusters, with a robust focus on Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.

Responsibilities

1. Strong hands‑on with Oracle 19c, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, OEM.
2. Expert‑level performance tuning (SQL & instance), AWR/ASH analysis, wait events.
3. Provision and manage RDS instances/clusters (instance classes, storage autoscaling, Multi‑AZ, parameter/subnet groups).
4. Govern backup/restore (automated backups, snapshots), encryption (KMS), patching, and minor/major version upgrades.
