Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Toronto)

Location & Work Style

Toronto, ON. Hybrid: 2 days per week in-person at Toronto office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
• Write and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools such as Oracle Cloud Control, AWR reports, and EXPLAIN PLAN; optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for maximum scalability and speed.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database software; manage database storage, plan for capacity growth, and perform routine patching and maintenance.
• Implement robust security measures, including data encryption, user access controls, and auditing; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
