Job Summary: This role is for a consultative salesperson who wants to understand how customers manufacture before offering a price. If you’re comfortable on a plant floor, curious about how things are made, and driven to help customers run better—not just buy cheaper—you’ll thrive here.
Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with manufacturers, fabricators, and OEMs
- Spend time in customer facilities learning processes and needs
- Sell solutions, not commodities—focused on reliability, lead time, and total cost
- Manage and grow a defined territory with existing and target accounts
- Develop account plans, manage pipeline, and follow up with discipline
- Collaborate closely with inside sales, operations, and leadership
- Communicate customer requirements and market trends internally
