Parent Liaison - Emergency Department - (Evenings/Nights)

JOB SUMMARY:

Parent Liaisons aim to support and advocate for patients and their caregivers, improve their control of the treatment process, and add to the quality of care that they receive during their time at Rady Children's. Serving as a member of the Emergency Department (ED) team, this role would work primarily in our ED waiting rooms to provide support to our patients and families before they are seen. As one of the first contacts for those seeking care, the Liaison provides insight into our processes in the ED, as well as would respond to any concerns that might arise during their wait. This individual should be flexible and adaptable to assist with the constantly evolving needs of the department and the needs of our patients and families at any time during their shift.
