Part-Time Academic (SLWK 5005/5006: MSW Social Work Field Work Class) - Winter/Summer 2027

The part-time academic will teach SLWK 5005/5006, “Social Work Field Work Class”. The course will be offered on campus in the Winter and Summer terms, from January-June 2027. Seminars will be held Mondays from 17:35-19:25.

Course description: The foundation field education course provides students with opportunities to integrate learning and practice through a supervised social work experience related to the specified learning goals. The course includes supervised social work practice in the field for a total of 450 hours and a concurrent seminar. The placement site is determined through consultation and agreement among the student, the Field Education Coordinator or designate and the agency.
