McGill University seeks a dedicated Course Lecturer for GSFS 303, focusing on Gender and Disability. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to engage with critical theories and social justice perspectives.
As a Course Lecturer for the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, you will lead classes on Fridays from 2:35 PM to 5:25 PM, starting August 31, 2026. You must possess, at minimum, a completed PhD or be enrolled in a relevant doctoral program. Previous university teaching experience and assistant roles will enhance your candidacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach GSFS 303 with a focus on gender and disability
• Facilitate engaging discussions on critical theories
• Assess and evaluate student performance
• Prepare and deliver course content effectively
• Collaborate with faculty in the Institute for Gender Studies
Requirements:
• PhD or doctoral enrollment in relevant discipline
• Previous university teaching experience preferred
