Be the face of community events with the Waterfront District BIA as a Part-Time Event Coordinator. This role includes planning, logistics, and creating engaging event experiences.
We are looking for a community-oriented person to coordinate and execute various small events and a cornerstone event within the Waterfront District. Responsibilities include overseeing event logistics, social media strategies, and staff or volunteer management. This job is perfect for gaining experience in tourism and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help plan logistics for summer community events
• Manage the day of execution for guest satisfaction
• Create and implement social media plans for events
• Recruit, supervise, and coordinate volunteer efforts
• Support local organizations by promoting their events
Requirements:
• Friendly disposition and excellent communication skills
• Punctual and able to work independently
• Physically fit to perform outdoor tasks
