Summary Of Duties
- Provide advanced PAA support to the Fracture Clinic
- Coordination of all administration and clerical activities within the department
- Duties include: Patient Registration and updating of patient information, scheduling appointment, ordering and coordinating x‑rays and other diagnostic procedures
- Chart preparation for all patient
- Respond to incoming phone calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel/area
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications/Skills
- Grade 12 education with post‑secondary business/secretarial courses
- Candidates who have successfully completed the hospital’s PAA training will be given priority consideration
- One year of administrative/business experience required, experience in a health‑care setting preferred
- Medical Terminology course preferred
