About the Role

Legislative Protective Services Branch (LPS) seeks experienced Police Officers to serve as armed Peace Officers reporting to a Sergeant in Operations. The role provides non‑partisan administrative and procedural services to Members of Provincial Parliament and supports daily operations of the Legislative Assembly.

What You’ll Do

• Act in conformity with the law and established policies.
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism by exhibiting the utmost tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
• Provide exceptional customer service in interactions with Members of Provincial Parliament, the media, visiting dignitaries, and the public.
• Carry out duties as a Peace Officer in accordance with legislation and service standards.
• Apply the principles of bias‑free law enforcement.
• Conduct general patrols and control access within the Legislative Precinct.
